A few days ago, I wrote that if your school’s approach to technology starts and ends with a phone policy, we need to talk. A lot of you agreed. Some of you shared stories that sound a lot like ones I’ve heard in my own work: adults making reactive decisions about technology without ever including students in the conversation. Rules written out of fear instead of understanding. Policies designed to control rather than develop.
